Now, it's time to learn how to generate income to build your empire!
Objective : Obtain level 5 in Commercial Infrastructure Research
Walkthrough
Go to Manage Empire > Science > Research > Infrastructure > Commercial
Enter the number of turns you wish to spend on it and keep researching until you reach level 5
Additional
The more commercial levels you have, the higher your commerce income will be. Terran empires make most of their money from commerce; therefore, concentrate on commercial research. The number of turns required will go up each time your empire completes an infrastructure research.
Mission 2 : Commercial Research
Congratulations ! You should remember to upgrade your commercial research as much as you can.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Military
Manage Empire > Military > Fleet
Manage Empire > Military > Shipyard
Manage Empire > Military > Explore
These new features allow you to construct ships: a basic fighter class ship and a scout class. Scouts are used to explore for new planets via the “Explore” feature.
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 3
Now you have the income, it is time to expand your empire peacefully (for now)

New feature available!
Manage Empire > Economy > Market
The Intergalactic Market is a place where you can buy and sell resources from food to minerals. Minerals are used to build certain types of ships.
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 5
Now you have the income in reserves, you will need other resources.
Let`s start with Food(the 2nd most important resources element in the game).
Objective : Obtain 12,000 units of food
Walkthrough
There are 2 ways in completing this mission.
The self sufficient way(recommended).
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Free up Planets > Type 61 next to Commercial > Click Remove Duties
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Assign Planet > Type 200 next to Agriculture > Click Assign Duties
After this, perform more Commercial research.
Manage Empire > Science > Research > Commercial
Recommend to research until level 11
The alternative way
Manage Empire > Economy > Market > Food
Type 12000 units in buy box, and click the Buy button.
Tip
Maximum food price ceiling will be at $15 and lowest will be at $3. Since food is a very essentials product later in the game, you will hardly get to buy food at $3 unless there is a sudden surge of supply over demand(which is very rare).
Mission 5 : Food for Population
Congratulations ! You now know how to produce food or to get food over the market.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Empire > Assign Planets > Housing
You are now able to assign planets on housing to gain taxes from population(although in the early game, Terran are mostly supported through Commercial Income).
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 6
Now you have food in the reserves, it`s time to put it in use.
Let`s increase the population in your empire.
Objective : Have 100 population.
Walkthrough
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Free up Planets > Type 10 next to Commercial > Click Remove Duties
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Assign Planets > Type 10 next to Housing > Click Assign Duties
Then increase your population by
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Population > Enter 2 at Turns > Select Increase > Click Confirm
Tip
Make sure you have sufficient food to support your population or else they get starved and your income will be reduced by 80%.
Notice that in the Population page, you can either increase or decrease the population at will. Though, decreasing population is also a rarity in the game.
Mission 6 : Creating Population
Congratulations ! You now have sufficient population under your command.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Military > Rank
Your scientists have developed a new communication systems which enables your military to determine how powerful all other empires are. This will be a useful feature later on as you will have to know how powerful (rated in Pr) other empires are, so you will know who to attack.
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 7
As your empire starts to grow, you`ll need more resources to maintain it.
Let`s start by getting more credits.
Objective : Obtain 1,000,000 credits.
Reminder
Credits can be increased by
1. Increasing the commercial research(recommended)
2. Increasing the number of commercial planets
3. Selling resources on the market
Walkthrough
Go to Manage Empire > Science > Research > Infrastructure > Commercial
Enter the number of turns you wish to spend on it and keep researching until you reach level 13
Tip
To determine your empire`s supplies and demands, click on the number of credit your empire has. This shows your empire's
* cash reserve
* food reserve
* goods reserve
* the number of food, raw materials and goods your empire currently needs and how much it produces each turn.
* profit or loss in credits per turn.
Mission 7 : Credits for Fleet
Congratulations ! You are ready for military approach in governing your empire. Now, strengthen your empire by increasing your Power Rating (Pr) and planets.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Military > Intel
Intel or intelligence collects and shows you the information for a specified empire. This includes information such as how powerful this empire is, which federation this empire belongs to, and their statistics. These statistics can give you an idea of how experienced the player running the empire is.
Manage Empire > Military > Battle Records
This feature allows you to check all your previous battles
Manage Empire > Military > Attack
If you wish to launch a military campaign you need to use this feature. You can launch raids or invasions on other empires.
Manage Empire > Military > Fleet > Outpost
You can assign ships to Outpost if your empire belongs to a Federation (Clan) or if you have a Lord. All ships in your Outpost will be sent to help repel attacks on your federation member or Lord. Note that ships here will not be able to assist you if you are under attack yourself.
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 8
Now that you have sufficient credits, it`s time to increase your empire size and power.
Objective : Achieve 100,000 Pr
Walkthrough
Manage Empire > Military > Shipyard > s.Viator > Type 800 units > Click Build Ships
Manage Empire > Military > Explore > Spend 2 turns > Click Explore!
Repeat for 2 times(this should get you above 100,000 Pr)
Quickly disband all your scouts
Manage Empire > Military > Fleet > Type 800 > Click Disband
Should you happen to get attacked(unlikely to happen), just ignore the attack(s).
Warning
The higher the Pr you have, the more powerful the empires next to you in the rankings are. Also expect them to be hostile.
Tip
You can push up your Pr by exploring for new planets. Planets will increase your Pr considerably but comes along with the risk of getting attacked or killed. You will be heading out of Newbie Protection if you have more than 3,000 planets. In case your empire has been killed off, you will have to restart by going to Options > Restart
You can also temporarily increase your empire`s Pr by building more ships than your empire`s economy can maintain. This will cause your empire to have a negative income. This is fine for a very short time, but maintaining such a fleet indefinitely will put your empire into debt. An empire with a debt greater than its per turn income is bankrupt unless it sells enough assets to pay the debt. Ensure your empire has sufficient credit reserves before building a large fleet. If your empire goes bankrupt, you will have to restart (Option > Restart).
Mission 8 : Internal stability
Congratulations ! Your empire is now capable of conquering other empires.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Reward
You can increase the loyalty of your population through rewards. If your citizen loyalty is too low then your empire's citizens may be subjected to sabotage or revolts.
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Mine (Mineral Type)
Some ships require rare minerals to build. At times, these minerals can be very costly. Mining allows you to mine for minerals to use. For Terran empires, mining is not done automatically like agriculture. To mine, a Terran empire must select a system with the desired mineral and then actively spend turns mining in that system.
Tip
A system with less than 3,000 planets risks being destroyed if attacked; therefore, try to make sure that every system in your empire has at least 5,000 planets.
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 9
Now that you have grown in Pr, it`s time to expand your empire size.
Objective : Obtain 8,000 planets
Walkthrough
Manage Empire > Military > Shipyard > s.Viator > Type 400 units > Click Build Ships
Manage Empire > Military > Explore > Spend 1 turns > Click Explore!
Quickly disband all your scouts after achieving 8,000 planets.
Manage Empire > Military > Fleet > Type 400 > Click Disband
Should you happen to get attacked(unlikely to happen), just ignore the attack(s).
Tip
The difficulty of finding new planets grows according to the total number of planets your empire has. It is easy to explore for new planets in the beginning; however, as your empire grows, exploring becomes progressively less beneficial. At that point, your empire will have to attack other empires to expand.
Always check on your systems for any unassigned planets. If yes, assigned them accordingly(recommend on Commercial) so that every turn you used, you will have maximum benefits.
Mission 9 : 8,000 Planets
Congratulations ! Your empire is capable of joining a federation/guild/clan.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Diplomacy > Federation (Clan)
This feature allows you to join a Federation. Once you join a federation you will be part of that family. Members of the same federation can not attack one another, but can offer assistance in terms of resources as well as reinforcements for defense. Choose a federation with many active members.
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 10
Your empire is almost ready to start conquering other empire in the galaxy.
You just need a few more researches and you will be on your way to a new odyssey.
Objective : Obtain $ 4,000,000 (4 Million) credits
Walkthrough
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Assign Planets > Type 6962 next to Commercial > Click Assign Duties
Manage Empire > Science > Research > Commercial
Continue researching until your credits ($) is more than 4 million [Level 15 and above would surpass 4 million credit($)]
Note: After this mission, 4 million credits will be deducted from your empire. So, please accumulate more than 4 million before completing the mission.
Tip
If there is unassigned planets in your Sol System, assign them in Commercial infrastructure to increase your income per turn.
Mission 10 : Funds for Election
Congratulations ! The credits were well spent in researches. Now, it's time to further increase your population.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > New System(Creation)
You can now create new systems. It costs planets to create new systems; however, certain types of systems perform better at certain things compared to others. For example, planets assigned to Commerce in a Capital system yield twice the income that same number of planets would have produced in a Sol-like system.
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Excavation Dig
You can dig for artifacts on systems. Artifacts have various effects like giving or reducing an empire`s resources. You can also now opt to build the capsule lab. The capsule lab allows you to fuse together a handful of artifacts, possibly giving you a more powerful artifact.
Manage Empire > Science > Artifacts
This feature lets you use artifacts you have found.
Missions: Act 1 > Mission 11
Before you leave your systems and start exploring/conquering other empires, you must first have enough population support to maintain the system.
Objective : Have 2,000 population
Walkthrough
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Free up Planets > Type 190 to Commercial > Click Remove Duties
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Assign Planets > Type 190 to Housing > Click Assign Duties
Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets > Population > Enter 6 into turns > Click Confirm
Note: It takes 6 turns to fully increase the population, should you have less than that, please wait a while and Click Confirm again.
Tip
Food generation at the moment would not be enough to sufficiently support the large population.
You can now either buy food from the market or assign more planets into Agriculture(recommend 100) to be self sufficient.
Mission 11 : The Election
Congratulations ! You are now ready to explore the Galaxy at your own pace.
New feature available!
Manage Empire > Science > Projects
The Projects command allows you to perform specific tasks or grants you specific bonuses. As your empire level increases, your empire can build, and use progressively more powerful projects.
Manage Empire > Diplomacy > Vassal
To increase your empire level you will need to gain more population and/or Vassals.
Missions: Act 2
Rumours about the Kalzul have circulated around the Universe for ages, with many scientists (some with dubious credentials) and bounty hunters claiming that they have seen Kalzul ruins scattered around the Universe. A few of the more 'unreliable' people have even claimed to be descendants of the Kalzul and to possess all the lost knowledge of this ancient race. These few, however, tend to live in caves and mutter to themselves....A LOT!
Nobody has yet proven any such claim with anything credible other than a recently discovered recipe for an ancient beverage called Beer which is believed to have been invented by terrans hundreds of centuries ago.
Lately though, the rumours have become more incessant and this has prompted many scientists, archaeologists, space explorers, treasure hunters and some empires to scour the Universe for any traces of the Kalzul. All of these searchers are trying to be the first to fulfill the age old prophecies of priceless treasures, technology, culture and finally ultimate weapons of destruction to be found by those who can unlock the secrets of the Kalzul!
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 1
Background
After letting Allucard leave your empire, you take a much needed vacation on a beautiful oceanic planet. You desperately need to rest your mind from managing your empire. Alas, there is little rest for the leader of a growing empire such as yours; you get a call from your home world soon after landing on the artificial island resort on an otherwise water-covered planet.
The triple-encrypted message requests that you return to your office with all speed to deal with some "unspecified event" ...... and just as you were about to try this rediscovered drink called Beer. Your next vacation may have to be in a cave where you could not be disturbed! You head back home to see what requires your attention so urgently.
Arriving on your home world, you are greeted with excitement and are informed by your ministers that there is a report from one of the planets in your inner most system. It seems, a construction crew has found what may be ancient ruins while doing routine infrastructure upgrading in a commercial area on the planet.
First of all, you will need to buy the whole planet from those with businesses on it, relocate them, and pay everyone who may have seen whatever was found to keep quiet.
Objective
Have a reserve of $5,000,000 credits
Note: This amount of credits will be deducted from your empire upon completion of this mission.
Mission 1 : Ancient ruins found
By making the entire planet into a top-secret military base, you can be certain that the site will be secured. You must be careful to let only those who need to know of this find hear of it.
Lost in thought for a moment, you wonder what your ex-friend, Allucard, would have made of the find; the thoughts that present themselves are almost terrifying, and you are relieved that he is no longer around to mis-use such power.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 2
Background
Now that you have secured the area for study, it is time to hire archaeologists to research the ruins. To do this, you must learn more on the Minister Project. This project allows you to hire new ministers that can govern your systems. Some ministers perform better than others while some may have bad habits or attitudes. Once you have researched this building, your empire will automatically seek out these archaeologists to try to determine what the ruins were and what they contain.
Objective
Research Ministers Office
You can find the Ministers Office
Science > Research > Mega projects > Ministers office
Mission 2 : Archeological department
After finishing research on the Ministers Office, specialists are recruited from around your empire to form the basis of an archaeological department. This department will be responsible for studying the site.
Your population rejoices, and your population's loyalty increases by +100 on all your systems.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 3
Background
After several weeks of study, your archaeological department conclude their findings. The ruin seems to be a structure of some kind. Carbon testing confirms that the structure dates to times near the end of the Kalzul era. The Kalzul race, an ancient alien race, is supposed to have ruled the Universe eons ago.
The Kalzul rule ended as suddenly and as mysteriously as it started. Although there is much speculation as to how this could have happened, no concrete proof has ever been found to support any of the hundreds of theories.
A famous archaeologist, Dr Alphonse, who specializes in the time period near the end of the Kalzul era comes highly recommended by the archaeological department.
Dr Alphonse is reluctant to join your cause because he is currently researching an Advance Scouting technology based on a large Terran hull. He believes that such a technology would prove to be useful for the future of archaeology, as the increased scanning capability of such a ship will make finding ancient ruins much easier than it is with the current Scout available. In order to have Dr Alphonse to lead your archaeological department, you must assist him to finish his research.
Objective
Research Adv. Scout
You can research Adv. Scout
Manage Empire > Science > Research > Adv. Scout
(Adv. Scout is only available after you research Small Terran Hull > Medium Terran Hull > Large Terran Hull in this order)
Mission 3 : Hiring Dr Alphonse
Dr Alphonse is delighted that you have spent a great amount of resources and your personal time to oversee the completion of the Advance Scout research. He joins your team immediately and starts working on the ancient ruin. With him on your team you know results should be fast in coming.
Also, with the introduction of the Advanced Scout ,your empire has found many new planets.
You gain +10,000 planets!
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 4
Background
Because Dr Alphonse joined your archaeology department, your military advisors strongly urge you to build up your military presence to ensure security of the site. You wonder if your scientists can come up with a way of stopping gossip escaping throughout the Universe; they are good but not that good!
Objective
Have 2,000,000 Pr
Mission 4 : Ruin site security
With a larger Pr, your empire clearly shows that it is more than capable of defending itself against intrusion, and rather oddly this knowledge comforts you. You think it must be the ghost of Allucard's memory lingering in your thoughts and try to shrug the feeling off.
Your population feels safer by the day and population loyalty increases by +100 on all your systems.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 5
Background
There is great news from the dig site! A pyramid shaped object was found in the structure. It contains some Kalzul texts. Although the pyramid is slightly damaged due to age, these texts may shed some light on many unanswered questions. To translate the texts, Dr Alphonse requires specific materials. Excited by the news, you order that everything is to be done to meet his needs.
Objective
Obtain 60,000,000 raw material
Note: The raw materials will be used up after this mission.
Mission 5 : Kalzul text
When translated, the ancient text reads as follows.
Today, fourth day* 892 rotations, we lost contact with our military base in the neighbouring Orion System. Warning beacon gamma activated, expect reinforcements to reach us within three days*. Level 2 alert activated, evacuation of all non-essential crew will commence.
Note: day* is based on Kalzul`s representation of day and can differ from the Terran`s use of Day.
Unfortunately only a small portion of the text could be salvaged from the pyramid. It seems that the pyramid is similar to the black box method of storing occurrences or log files. However the good news is that from the translation, you can now figure out the coordinates of the mentioned military base.
This structure, as Dr Alphonse found out, is of great importance; it either is a military base or is part of one. There is one universal truth about military bases: they are built for protection -- either directly or for training troops. The indication of a military base clearly shows that there was some form of military threat against the Kalzul race! Could it have been a rebellion or even an unknown race?
As far as you know, there is no indication of the presence of another alien race other than the Kalzul during this era, so this gives you and your scientists more questions than answers! Questions like:
* Who were the Kalzul trying to protect themselves from?
* Were they at war? And if so who were they against?
Further discoveries from the military site may give you more clues.
Your population, excited by the news, holds a series of street parties in your honour, and your population's loyalty increases by +100 on all your systems.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 6
Background
There have been several Kalzul findings spread throughout the Universe. These ancient ruins -- so far --have provided a very limited history about the ancient race (though none of the findings thus far have been so important in the eyes of historians and archaeologists as your find of the military base).
What we know is that the Kalzul once ruled the Universe (an amazing feat by anyone's standards). Due to the vast length of time between the Kalzul era and the present time, all the Kalzul ruins are in pretty bad condition and can tell little of what went on during that time or what purpose the ruins served. Several Kalzul shipwrecks found indicate that they had superior technology in the fields of space ships and space travel. No clear evidence has ever been found to show the beginning of the Kalzul or why the Kalzul mysteriously disappeared causing the end of the Kalzul era.
It seems that all of the clues the Kalzul have left behind point to the Orion System. Of course you shall need to gain control of this system first just to be safe. To gain control of this system, you must expand the borders of your empire by increasing the number of planets your empire controls.
Objective
Have 55,000 planets
Mission 6 : The Orion System
With the news of your findings leaking out all over the Universe people flock to assist you in your cause. (It is amazing how popular one becomes when one has something people want, isn't it?)
+1 Orion System with 10,000 planets!
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 7
Background
Upon reaching the Orion system, Dr Alphonse excitedly goes off to search the system for the ancient Kalzul military outpost. In the meantime your military advisors propose that you include the Orion System into your empire. The Orion System is different from other systems and is not habitable. In order to colonize, it you must first terraform it by using specific minerals to change some aspects of the system to make it more suited to your needs.
Objective
Have 10,000,000 Rutile
Mission 7 : Terraforming the Orion System
The Orion System has been terraformed, and you proceed to colonize the system. This system will be a welcome addition to your empire. You smile, pleased at how well your expansion plan is going. Now if only you can unlock the secrets of the Kalzul, your reign would be legendary!
You can now manage the Orion System.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 8
Background
Dr Alphonse discovers the military outpost and excitedly starts excavating immediately. This Kalzul outpost is literally in ruins and looks like it saw some great action before its demise. It is almost certain that someone or something more powerful than the Kalzul attacked and destroyed this outpost. You speculate that the first archaeological site was attacked as well by this unknown alien race.
The news of this important breakthrough soon spreads throughout the Galaxy. You are advised by your military officers to tighten security to ensure everything goes smoothly and without incident.
Objective
Have 4,000,000 Pr
Mission 8 : Defending the Orion System
Your population feels safer by the day, and if you are honest so do you.
In every shadow, you think you see spectral images of Allucard:.why cant you get that man out of your head? You have 2 tricorder scans of your palace done each day and set the phaser under your pillow to Blast Level 1. Feeling safe is one thing, but being safe requires prudent precaution.
Your population's Loyalty increases by +100 on all your systems.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 9
Background
Dr Alphonse announces finding some information of great importance and organizes a meeting. It seems that from the military outpost, he has discovered and deciphered a partial map of the Kalzul in the sector containing your empire. The military outpost was meant to protect personnel from the initial archaeological site. Dr Alphonse speculates that these personnel must have been working on some project of great importance. Starship signatures were found in this area pointing to a facility located in the Titan Nebula, in the neighbouring system.
Dr Alphonse requests that several long-range scouts be specially constructed and sent to the Nebula to search for the location of this facility while he continues work on the military outpost. The specially designed scouts will require a vast amount of metal, for both adapted hulls capable of surviving the nebula, and also for the cornicopia of equipment needed for such an operation.
Objective
Have 5,000,000 Terran Metal
Mission 9 : Scouting the Titan Nebula
As an added bonus, these super scouts also picked up traces of some planets near by the Titan Nebula. Never one to miss an opportunity, you 'invite' them to join you.
You gain +5,000 planets!
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 10
Background
After a couple of weeks, Dr Alphonse has made progress. He has reconstructed part of the life support system found in the military outpost. You quickly realize that your empire's housing infrastructure could benefit greatly from this first of useful Kalzul technology! It will be slightly costly to refit your entire empire's housing system with this new technology, but the benefits far outweigh the initial cost.
Objective
Pay $ 150,000,000 credits
Mission 10 : Refitting Housing Infrastructure
With the new systems in place and in full working order,
your housing systems are working at +50% efficiency, the good doctor has earned his keep this day!
You gain +5 housing infrastructure research!
Continue
Continue
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 11
Background
With your concentration elsewhere for so long, a vocal minority has stirred up trouble at home and you return to your home system. When you get to your home system, you learn that a very small but well organized gang has taken the opportunity to spread rumours discrediting you and have planted the seed of distrust among your population.
To clear your name and restore your population's trust, you must gain some new planets by peaceful or hostile means, to re-assure your population that the empire continues to grow.
Objective
Obtain 60,000 planets
Mission 11 : Distrust on your homeworld
By quickly appeasing your people you gain their support once more.
+200 to population loyalty on all systems.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 12
Background
Having pacified your people, you move back to the Orion System to check on Dr Alphonse. (It looks to you like all the excitement of the find is getting to the good doctor and you consider ordering him to rest a little.)
On reaching the Orion System, your staff inform you of results from the scouts. It seems that most of the scouts were destroyed by an unknown space abnormality as they approached the centre of the Titan Nebula. So far scientists have determined that this space abnormality generated a powerful, ionic burst that penetrated the scouts and destroyed the life support system, navigation and everything else on board. What remained is the empty hulls of the ships.
Dr Alphonse requests more funding to continue this scouting mission.
Objective
Pay 200,000,000 credits
Mission 12 : Titan Nebula space abnormality
Although pleased with the progress, you can't help but worry about Dr Alphonse's health: the poor man looks more tired and weaker with each day that passes.
You received +25 Platinum Dinero!
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 13
Background
After several weeks of failure, Dr Alphonse's perseverance finally yields success. Scouts built with a special hull coating derived from a formula discovered in the military outpost managed to withstand the space abnormality and reached the centre of the Titan Nebula. Electronic images taken by the new scouts revealed an ancient structure right in the centre of the space abnormality. There were no detectable life forms, but a faint energy reading was found.
An away team will be sent to investigate this structure. While this is being done, you must collect sufficient resources to make enough of the special coating to protect a larger support vessel to dock with the structure.
Objective
Pay 50,000,000 red crystal
Mission 13 : Inside the Titan Nebula
With sufficient resources, you dispatch a specially coated support ship along with Dr Alphonse and the away team. (You were concerned about sending the old man, but he needs to see things as they are found -- not just videos of the finds.) During the investigation, the away team discovered a small fleet of useable Kalzul ships stored in what it seems to be the hangar of the structure. These ships will be added to your existing fleet.
Reports from the support ship suggest that the good doctor has developed a persistent cough, during your frequent chats with him, Dr Alphonse has become like a father to you. His steadily worsening health worries you so much you can barely sleep.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 14
Background
While waiting for Dr Alphonse to finish his research on the Kalzul space station, an incoming message from an unknown source appears on your communication screen.
"Greetings sire, I am Maxwell of the Titan Nebulal, your ....uh ...friendly local tour guide. I have been working here to ... hmm ... provide and organize various tours for private individuals and organizations moving goods .. oops ...I mean groups of tourists around.
"I have a great proposition for you, Sire. During one of my flights, I discovered a Capital Class System hidden away from most navigation scanners due to the Titan Nebulas electro-magnetic discharges. I can provide the exact coordinates in exchange for a small finders fee of $20 billions. As soon as the credits are in my out-system bank account, I will relay the coordinates of that system to you."
Intel checks on the friendly tour guide has shown Maxwell ..(also known as 'Max the Mole') ... is the ring leader of a smuggling ring that smuggles various contrabands in and out of many empires. Although it sounds like a good deal as Level 2 Capital Systems are rare in the Galaxy, caution is strongly recommended by your advisors. You have the option to proceed with his request or ignore the transmission.
Objective
Pay $ 20,000,000,000 credits
Mission 14 : Transmission from Maxwell

Greetings sire, This is Maxwell your uh friendly tour organizer. I have received the funds and have sent the coordinates of the Capital System to you as promised. Its good to do business with you, and I will contact you again if I happen to come across anything of value which I can earn . hmmm I mean which I can provide to this great empire of yours. As you know, Your Honour, I am a loyal supporter of yours.
Seems to be that sometimes a gamble pays off! The little weasel transmitted a set of co-ordinates that led directly to a new Capital system. A bargain for so little money.

‘Greetings sire, I am Maxwell your uh… freelance space explorer. I seem to have a little bit of problem. My cousin was transporting a large supply of Terran Metal and was uh… somewhat caught in an accident and we lost that shipment.. I mean our legitimate supply ship to hmmmm…. space pirates, yes, space pirates. If you can provide me with a replacement load of Terran Metal I can offer coordinates of a special Kalzul System’
Again caution is advised by your advisors. You have the option to choose to proceed with his request or not.
Mission 15 : Maxwell 2nd transmission

‘Greetings sire, it is Maxwell again your uh… friendly freelance space adventurer. Thanks for the Terran Metal, however it saddens me greatly to inform you that I somehow misplaced my galactic map of that system. I truly feel bad about this, so let me offer to pay you cash for the Terran Metal, you can see that my payment is more than just.
You have been had! You received only $1000 from Maxwell for the ton of supply of Terran Metal you sent out!
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 16
Background
After going through a couple of days banging your head on the wall, all because of the weasel Maxwell, you have been informed of more terrible news. A large energy burst was detected in the Titan Nebula, deep space sensors were unable to detect the Kalzul facility in the Titan Nebula. Probes sent revealed that the Kalzul facility had vanished, no traces of the facility could be found anywhere in or around the Titan Nebula. A couple of days later, an incoming message was detected on our deep space communication channel. (Note: Messages in deep space takes sometime to reach due to the distance).
Incoming message detected…
Sire! Alphonse here(cough cough)… *sizzle* … great news… *sizzle* …(cough) we discovered… in Urania System… *sizzle* … coordinates (cough)982.823 Sector 723 … transmission lost
The coordinates given by Dr Alphonse seem to point to a dangerous sector in space, considered the pirate haven. If you were to head towards there you must first eliminate the pirates operating in that sector.
Your concern deepens for the poor doctor......
Objective
Obtain 8,000,000 Pr
Mission 16 : Moving to the Urania System
The pirates upon seeing your huge fleet approaching fled without putting up a fight leaving behind a huge stash of food and credits in one of their hideouts uncovered by your fleet. You can now proceed to venture into the sector safe against intrusion from the pirates.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 17
Background
Upon reaching the Urania System, your fleet discovers the Kalzul facility hidden behind the far 3rd moon of Urania. Several military ships were sent to escort Dr Alphonse back. A couple of hours later, Dr Alphonse returns safe and sound to your flagship, presenting his report on his findings. He looks pale and withdrawn but he assures you he is simply tired and that there is nothing to worry about. The report bearing the title `The Titan Project` is named after discovering this facility in the Titan Nebula so explains Dr Alphonse.
The Titan Project
Utilizing a significant amount of White and Red Crystals Minerals with certain processes research has found, we can create a Blue colored Crystal. Fusing this crystal with plasma in a certain environment creates a space abnormality that is capable of penetrating all known shields and ship hull (except for those which is specially shielded) destroying all form of electronics, navigation and life support system on board. This effectively destroys all ships within a certain range.
Now the trick is to get this so called 'Titan Bomb' close enough to enemy ships before detonating it. This has been solved by a Kalzul propulsion system called Swivel, similar to our current warp system. Now the difference is all-current races has warp disruptor installed in almost every ship to disrupt warp transmission and to bring any fleet travelling at warp speed. This is the standard de-facto technology used to intercept hostile fleets and how space battles actually take form, having this technology ensures the Kalzul is sending the Titan Bomb to designated areas with absolutely no chance of interception.
Dr Alphonse is to be justly celebrated for his part in this great discovery as he continues to contribute to unlock more mysteries and answer more questions.
Objective
Pay 200,000,000 credits
Mission 17 : Entering the Urania System
Dr Alphonse is deeply touched by your notion to more than justly reward him. Alphonse day was declared 1 week from today, and a national parade featuring Dr Alphonse is currently being organized by your city council. You just hope that the good doctor slows his working pace down now that he is hideously rich, the man is looking more stricken with each passing day.
Missions: Act 2 > Mission 18
Background
A couple of days went by as you tried in vain trying to reach Dr Alphonse. Thinking that he may be busy at work you left him be. A day before the great parade and Alphonse Day you decide to pay a friendly visit to Dr Alphonse to check on what new stuff he is working on. After yelling and knocking on his door for sometime and hearing no answer, your guards break down the door as you feel something amiss. A strong odour greats you in the darkened residence of Dr Alphonse. Your guards walk past you to secure the residence only to find that Dr Alphonse is dead, slumped over his desk. You make a few calls and a medical team arrives soon to take Dr Alphonse to the medical lab.
Medical lab results show that Dr Alphonse died 2 days ago of overworking. Grief strikes you, not from the death of Dr Alphonse but the fact that there will surely be delays for the Kalzul research you have been pressing for. You mumble to yourself `If I knew he was planning on dropping dead I would have asked him to finish his job quicker`.
Dr Alphonse Day proceeds according to schedule as it is already too late to cancel the event.
Findings on Dr Alphonse's latest work revealed a white colored tablet that was found hidden within the facility. The late Alphonse theorized that the Kalzul used tablets to store information as primitive Terrans stored information on Silicon based Disks years ago. With the departure of Dr Alphonse you will have to invest your own time into continuing the research.
Objective
Research the Kalzul White Tablet.
Mission 18 : Kalzul White Tablet
Success! The Tablet was quickly deciphered and its secrets unlocked. Your population rejoices, +200 to population loyalty on all systems. The project also had positive over-runs in the methods of powering and supplying your commercial districts, making them 50% more efficient!!!
Although excited by the discovery, your officials are worried as they now see you as an uncompassionate and cruel leader. To make matters worse, while Dr Alphonse's family members are still mourning for the Doctor, some of the city council members have moved forward to organize a large scale celebration on the findings of your research causing a rift among your people.
Your medical advisors from the medical lab left you an urgent message bringing more bad news. It appears that the good Doctor did not die from overwork as initially thought but rather by foul play. Microscopic puncture wounds were found in the heart simulating a heart attack leading to the original reason of being overworked.
You return to your residence accompanied by your armed guards. Your mind is lost deep in thoughts of betrayal and murder. Who was the one responsible trying to stop Dr Alphonse from completing his research and to point the blame on you? Who is the one who spread discontent among your officers and people? It is surely going to be an interesting week as you have to figure out what is going on before its too late.

Missions
Act 3
Alarmed by the news of Dr Alphonse’s murder, you put together a very secret
team to investigate the crime scene. So far, little has been found to indicate
who was responsible. This troubles you deeply, who would want to kill the
doctor? And more to the point who would want to frame you? And on top of it all
you have to make sure none of the population finds out there is a murderer on
the loose.
Things are just not going well, your people now see you as an unfeeling monster
and the dissent among them grows daily, you fear a revolt may be at hand. In
order to stop this from happening, you put curfews on all planets and spies in
your city to find the ring leaders who are spreading these malicious (yet true)
rumours about you. Rather than helping matters this makes your citizens despise
you more! And so you tighten your grip on the populace, making it so they may
not go out after dark in fact, the only thing you do allow them to do freely is
go to work. Even when there, they dare not speak since lately those who have
said a bad word against you have disappeared and no one knows where to…….

Missions: Act 3 > Mission 1
Background
With so much dissent in your systems, you have to find a way to get your people
back on your side, and with so much underground rebellion getting your people
to work together again is going on this wont be easy!!!
Only today, your security intercepted a crudely made mail bomb destined for
your office! You must find a way to get your people back on your side. Your
very life, it appears, depends on it!!
Fearing for your life, you can’t relax security; therefore, to appease your
people you decide to go back to the old method of system expansion. You
remember the good old days when your people got so excited and loved you more
for each planet you found.
Objective: Have a total of 150,000 planets.
---------
Mission 1 : We the people
Your people are not impressed by your empty gestures, loyalty drops by 30
throughout all your systems. However, your soldiers discover a stash of
mineral.
You received +50,000,000 Red Crystal!
It looks like you will have to find a new way of regaining your people's
loyalty, but there appears to be someone who wants to use the discord among
your people against you and maybe to assassinate you!
You must find out who this is and stop them before it is too late! You have
worked too long and too hard at building this empire to watch it dissolve
before your very eyes. You put ministers to work on coming up with a way to
regain your people's love and trust once again. You hope they can come up with
something soon! If they fail, you vow, that your neck is not the only one that
will be on the block.

Act 3 > Mission 2
Background
Perplexed and anxious, you assemble an investigation team from the security
teams that are assigned to protect such people as you and Dr. Alphonse. Among
the team are Karin Brooke, and Patty Irma. Although Lieutenant Brooke has
fallen suddenly ill, Ms. Irma says she is fine working alone on the
investigation, in fact she prefers it.
Although you have an investigation team on it, you still ponder how and why Dr.
Alphonse was killed. You do not really care who is doing the investigation, you
just want to find out who did the deed, by any means necessary and as quickly
as possible.
You predict hard and dark times ahead of you.
Objective: Gather $500,000,000 Credits

Mission 2 : Internal Investigations
Patty Irma joins your empire!
Your people, seemingly happy that some progress has been made at last, finally
seem to have questioned down.
With the new team in place you can now investigate the murder of the good
Doctor. You eagerly await any results, knowing all too well what repercussions
this murder could have on you. The carpet in your office is beginning to have a
noticeable path worn into it as you pace the room, waiting on ministers and
investigators to complete their jobs. There is nothing more you can do but
wait.
You received +15,000 planets!

-----------
Missions: Act 3 > Mission 3
Background
With the investigation well under way, you turn your attention back to re-
building your people's confidence in you. It’s not going to be easy; your
people truly despise you and your attitude. With your exploration plan
backfiring on you, you have to formulate another plan to regain your people's
support. This has become your top priority now that small riots have begun to
break out on several different systems. Again you tighten security: if anyone
so much as sneezes, you will know about it.
The extra security only adds to their hatred of you. Your Ministers suggest
current opinion polls show that the people would like to see you show some
emotion over the death of the well loved and respected doctor. They advise you
that some sort of memorial for the doctor might work, so you decide to hold a
very tasteful memorial service with a statue unveiling for the doctor, inwardly
you pray this will appease your people. With what you have planned for the
future, you really need they’re support.
Objective
Have 200,000,000 Composite to build a Memorial for Doctor Alphonso.

Mission 3 : Populace Popularity
Your population’s opinion of you shifts slightly. With your population slightly
happier with you, you can relax a little and turn your attentions back to the
on-going investigation. It seems to be running slowly though, and you want
results quicker! You begin to think answers will never be found at this rate;
therefore, you increase pressure on the investigation team to come up with
answers soon!
One of your ministers advises you relax a little and maybe take this time to
refine your people management skills. Obviously you have the minister who
suggested this tortured in front of you: how dare he suggest you're not good
with people! You muse over the cheek of the remark as one of his forcibly
extracted fingernails lands on your desk bloodying your paperwork; you sigh to
yourself, "some people never learn", and signal for the inquisitor to step up
his efforts. The screaming continues late into the night.
You received +5,000,000 Terran Metals!

Missions: Act 3 > Mission 4
Background
With your population appeased for the moment, you turn your attention back to
the investigation and other pressing matters like who will now lead the
research on the Kalzul tablet.
Then, during your daily emotional breakdown while watching your home system’s
news transmissions, you receive a call. You go to sit down and activate the
receiver. Incoming: “Sir, we have a lead.”
“Dianne Sonja, Sir, we found a large transfer of credits to Gamma sector after
the assassination,” Patty Irma informs you. The dialogue continues, apparently
she is in the medical department, and had some limited contact with Dr.
Alphonse. However, there is yet to be a motive, or at least one with evidence
behind it.
You sit in your gaudy imperial style room, thinking…. Sonja. You knew her for
over 2 years now, and you knew she was a prime suspect, but why her? You spent
a lot of time with her then, a little too much for an emperor. Nothing really
makes any sense anymore! It seems as though you have been betrayed by a
personal friend.
Objective
Have 600,000,000 unit of Food to give to the population.

----------
Mission 4 : Hunt for the Murderer
Your mood darkens as you wait for the news that Dianne has been detained, all
this waiting is nothing short of infuriating, and even the news that the system
your team found her on has joined you does nothing for your mood! A low moan,
followed by a wet sucking sound breaks your concentration, and you realize that
the minister is still being tortured before you. Perhaps he can last long
enough with out dying to keep you amused until Dianne is found; you order the
jailer to torture him more slowly. Unfortunately (but luckily for the poor
minister) you are interrupted.
The scientists from the late doctor’s team come across some artifacts you may
find useful.
You receive +20 Silver Dinero!

Missions: Act 3 > Mission 5
Background
All you can do is wait to hear from your search team; you hope they catch up
with Dianne quickly, the sooner this investigation is through the better it
will be for all concerned!
The ministers cautiously recommend, that with the spare time you have while you
wait for results you could again turn to the task of getting your public to
love you again. You figure the best way to do this is to restart research on
the Kalzul tablet, the public were excited when it was found; therefore, maybe
it is time to re-kindle their interest!
As a further punishment to your wayward and free thinking minister, you put him
in charge of restarting the research. Well you wouldn't miss him if he
accidentally gets murdered, and it’s the only job vacant that doesn’t require
the use of your hands!
Objective
Invest $250,000,000 into further research on the tablet

Mission 5 : Who wants a job?
Reward
Scientists make progress on the tablet: you gain 10,000,000 Strafez Organism
Finally some good news! Scientists have translated a little of the tablet,
maybe that minister isn't quite as annoying as he seems. The Translated part of
the tablet reads:
‘They who know the secret and have the courage shall rule all. They who have
fear in their hearts shall fall.’
The message, although not much in terms of scientific value, sends shivers of
excitement through you; this must be the key to the legendary Kalzul ultimate
weapon! You push your scientists to work harder on the project. Once you have
that weapon you will have ultimate power. Who cares what people think of you
then?

Missions: Act 3 > Mission 6
Background
Dianne Sonja was caught yesterday in the Gamma sector, as assumed. She has been
under the harshest of interrogation allowed under your law, and some not. You
have been reviewing the interrogation; she remains in the corner knocked out of
her chair: bleeding and crying. You can barely stand to watch, but if she was
using you this whole time, then it is revenge.
Session after session passes; all strategies have been used, and she still
admits to nothing. She continues to claim complete ignorance and innocence. You
visit Dr. Sonja’s jail cell, saying nothing to her, she screams, trying to grab
your arm, misses, falls down, starts crying, and says something about being
framed, but you figure she will do anything to get out.
You go back to your extravagant lair, and attempt to contact Patty Irma. For
some reason she is not available; therefore, you alert your security crew to
look for her. After hours of searching, starting from an insignificant attempt
to contact, to a complete bewilderment of her current location, you come up
with nothing.

Gather 50,000,000 Red Crystals for building some ships.

Mission 6 : Dear Dianne
This entire people disappearing are making you angry! How much time do these
women think you have to find the murderer! And now you have to keep finding
them! You feel like you are banging your head against a brick wall, just as you
find one part of the puzzle something goes wrong!
You wonder how much this is all going to end up costing you, and if it’s really
worth it. The people are happy with the statue and it’s likely the murderer is
far, far away from your systems by now. Perhaps you should just save money and
call off the investigations and searches. Sense prevails though, and your
curiosity of all the recent strange events would never be sated if you do not
find answers.

Again you have to wait for news on yet another search; it seems to be every
time you get one step closer to the truth you find yourself 10 steps further

coursing through you, you go to the gym. Just as you start to do your warm up
exercises you receive an urgent call to go straight to the science lab, it can
only mean one thing: more of the Kalzul Tablet has been decoded!
On reaching the lab you are handed a copy of the decoded text.
‘The secrets that lay within are powerful and will only be made possible by
those strong of will. He who bears this weapon must be sure of himself and of
those who will help him wield it; only the strong shall succeed while the weak
shall be crushed.’

Kalzul were a bit long winded and that deciphering the tablet could take some
time!

Mission 7 : Tablet Text
The "secrets" that you have revealed have proved all-but useless, and you begin
to wonder whether the method of KalZul warriors was not to slaughter their
enemies in bloody battles as the records claim, but to bore them to death with
endless procrastination!
Angered, you pace the room once more, waiting for the Minister of Science to
enter the room and explain himself. If he cannot, you will have to put down a
plastic sheet. His last visit ruined the ornamental rugs. Blood is such a
persistent stain. The housekeeper recommended soda water, but that failed, and
now the holes in the wall where you crucified her need filling. Maybe you
should just redecorate, but there is a strange lack of willing workmen.

good to know you are keeping them on they're toes, well those who have their

The voice says, “Why, hello again your majesty, funny seeing you here again, is
there something I can help you with?"
You spend time negotiating, but Maxwell won’t budge on his idea of giving him
your entire fleet. In frustration you board his ship. His bandit crew refuses
to stand down, so you make some of them, its hard to stand when you have your
kneecaps shot out from under you! You receive multiple phaser burns; some go
through muscle tissue on your extremities. Spurred on by adrenaline, you
approach Maxwell; he is armed. Well he was right until you shot both his arms
off. He finally considers your offer, and then accepts.
Maxwell shall not be charged with any crimes previously committed, and your
empire gets all stolen items currently aboard his ship. Any surviving bandits
were marched out (well those that could march a few had to be dragged) with
their hands in the air: literally, their arms were removed and hung from the
ship as a reminder to all mercenaries.
In the hospital, you are in serious condition and Patty was roughed up in the
fray as well. You talked to Patty as you were brought to your rooms. You could
not remember much of what was said due to being delirious, and her speech was

Intermission
Karin Brooke, who has been with your team for a while now, has recovered from
her illness, and she is now to leading the investigation. She is better than
Patty Irma; she never hesitates to report any little piece of evidence to you,
any suspects, and their likeliness of involvement directly to you right after
recording and detaining the evidence. Too bad she came down with that disease
the day before your choose the team. It seems kind of odd, that she would
become so ill so suddenly and at such a strategic time!
She is very thorough, even with mandatory military sanitation protocols. In
comparison with Ms. Irma, Karin out-performs her entirely. In fact Patty was
very hesitant to bring up evidence, claiming that the finds were irrelevant, or
there was no need to even consider it.
Lt. Brooke swiftly enters the room, stands attention, and barks,
“SIR WE HAVE EVIDENCE WE THINK YOU SHOULD SEE FOR YOURSELF.”
Karin takes you to the main investigation room; some notes and sheets of
reports are spread across a table before you. She begins to speak but just as
she opens her mouth she is shot with a fully charged Class C laser through the
side of the head, you watch in horror as her brains come out of the other side.
You draw your phaser pistol and pull an off the hip shot on the attacker.

of the investigation crew members barge in firing upon you and the rest of the

You call all the security you have to flank off this room and to search the

coordinate with the hidden security teams coming from the doors the assault
came from and the one you entered, and then give the order. This being a large
room the teams did not get them all but cleared out most in the back who were
armed with higher powered weaponry, which could easily take off a limb. The
battle wears down and is eventually over with 15 dead and you and 20 more
wounded. You are immediately transported to a hospital, and undergo a minor
surgery due to some kinetic based guns used in the battle.
You awaken from your narcotic induced sleep with bullets removed and burns in
the process of healing. The remnants of the investigation team scrambled what
papers where left, and tell you about them and the ones missing.
“Sir, we have concluded from this as you probably have too, that Ms. Patty Irma
was the assassin.” It all makes sense now: Lt. Brooke’s sudden illness, the
unlikely suspect of Dianne Sonja to throw blame on someone else, even Ms.
Irma’s suspicious behavior and slow investigation procedures. You then
instantly order her be found and detained, or if necessary, shot on sight! It
would end the same anyway; interrogation would be more fun though.

You reach the lab in time to see a very ragged and scared looking Patty Irma;
in her hand she holds the Kalzul tablet. You reach for your gun and tell the
security teams to hold their fire. Edging towards her, you gently speak to her
trying to coax her into putting the tablet down and giving herself up. She
lunges to the door at the other end of the lab but not before releasing a
grenade which skitters across the floor towards you. You run to take cover, the
team firing at her retreating back, Alarms screaming from all over the complex
tracking her flight. A loud explosion as the lab is ripped apart. Things just
can’t be easy, you think as you brush plaster dust from your collar and assess
the damage before sending security crews out and locking down the complex to
stop Patty from escaping.
During the gun fight, a small storage room exploded.

Background
You join one of the crews in the search, and as you search for Patty you hear
shouts from another team, you run towards the sound and see Patty backed into a
corner like a mouse. Again you tell her to give herself up; she is sobbing
quietly and reaches into the breast pocket of her tunic top. Immediately out of
self preservation you unload your phaser into her head, her brains spraying out
onto the wall behind her. Quickly you search her lifeless body for the tablet
but there is no sign of it, instead you find an old style data disc in her
hand. The disc must be important; she was trying to give you it, not trying to
shoot you. You cry out in anguish, more blood is on your hands and for what
reason? Maybe the disc will tell you something but it’s almost as old as the
Kalzul! You will need specialist equipment to get the data held on it.

Mission 15 : Death and Loss
You discover the truth behind the doctor’s murder! (And some handy artifacts
show up in you lab)
The contents of the disc are disturbing to say the least! It appears Patty had
been forced into her actions by an unknown who had kidnapped her mother and
sister, her only remaining family. In order for them to be released to her she
had to ensure work on the Kalzul tablet did not continue. Thus the death of the
doctor, but when she realized an investigation was going to be held she had to
get Karin out of the way so she could lead it and put up smoke screens to cover
her involvement. She had put some of the more harmless viral spores into
Karin’s ventilation system thus causing her to become ill but not fatally so.
Then she led the investigation hoping to frame Dianne for everything and ensure
the release of her family. Unfortunately you had not ceased research or
believed Dianne had done anything so she had to get the tablet from you… the
only semi successful part of her plan. The whereabouts of the tablet is now
unknown to you. The last part of the data was almost corrupted beyond repair
but your technicians manage to decipher an apology from Patty and a plea to you
to rescue her family. You return to your quarters to assess all the
information.
You receive +9 Minor Afortunado!

Having finally discovered the truth behind the murder you now have to decide on
a plan of action. Do you set in search of Patty’s family and respect a
desperate woman’s dying wish? Or do you make a frantic search for the lost
tablet? Looking at Patty’s data disc again you empathize with her situation,
you too would have done anything to save your family if you had one, the
closest thing you had was the general and he is gone. You weep as you realize
all you have loved and cherished have passed on. Its then you decide on your
next course of action. You will find not only Patty’s family but also the
tablet.
You send out a very discreet search party to hunt the planet for the tablet,
Patty didn’t have time to get it off the planet so it must be somewhere. You
also order a search of Patty’s accommodation to see if you find any clues to
where her family may be.

what he is blabbering about now, your temper shortened at the sound of his
weedy voice.
‘Well sire it appears I have come to find in my possession a very ancient
tablet, possibly of interest to you, it has Kalzul markings and although I cant
translate sire they seem to be of importance.’
Maxwell is up to his tricks again you feel sure, but are you willing to take a
chance? What if the tablet did get off the planet and Patty had an accomplice?

Missions: Act 4
The duties of a leader can be quite demanding as you have realized. You have
thrown yourself full throttle into the mystery surrounding Patty and the Kalzul
tablet, but have hit wall after wall in trying to discover the truth, which
seems to be more distant than the end of space. Every lead you’ve gotten has
produced more questions than answers that lead you nowhere. The Kalzul tablet
was obviously very important, enough so to have cost you the life of Doctor,
and now the life of Patty.
You had been so diligent in trying to discover the mystery that you have been
deceived yet again by that rat Maxwell, who had preyed on your minds exhaustive
state.
Pleasing your subjects gets harder with each passing day. Corruption and
Politics divert your attention from your most pressing matters, and force you

You have been investigating into the whereabouts of Patty’s family in hopes of
getting some more answers concerning Dr. Alphonse’s murder. But the more you
investigate the more baffled you become. You had sent out agents in hopes of
finding out who kidnapped Patty’s family, but all of their findings point
toward a problem much bigger. Patty’s family was very close to some very dark
and shady individuals. These individuals had some ties to a rogue interstellar
corporation whose illicit activities were well known throughout the galaxy.
It’s a mystery to you as to where this corporation gets its finances. The
corporation doesn’t even have an official name and it exists more in rumors
then in actuality. People refer to the corporation with the name “Formo”.
Because of Formo being so secretive, you have never even heard of their
existence. You send out agents to monitor and track down members of Formo, but
you still are baffled by a certain peculiar question. Why would they want to
murder the poor Doctor, and how did they even know about the KalZul tablet? You
feel shivers run down your spine as you think about Formo, and realize that
there is probably a much larger force behind them. You have no choice for the
time being, but to wait and see until your agents turn up some more information
about them.

keep emphasizing to you about how reluctant people were to talk about Formo,
with one person’s comment when questioned being, “They have eyes everywhere!
They know everything!” A startling, dark and silent fear of the corporation was
common in every person your agents talked to. Formo, the corporation of secrecy
and terror, no doubt has dark connections to something you can’t quite put your
finger on. Your dreams are still haunted by the constant replaying of Patty’s

You lie in your bed trying to sleep, but the same dark dream comes back every

dream you can see children running, playing, laughing in a large grassy plain,
and then suddenly shrill, chilling screams are heard as roaring explosions
erupt in front you. You hide in a cluster of large dense trees as you witness
your playmates taken away by strangers with hideous and gnarled appearances.
You try to run but your body appears to be running in a kind of slow motion,
with your legs running as slow as if they are treading water.” You suddenly
spring awake in your bed panting, sweating, and gasping for breath. You stop
trying to sleep and devote yourself to the matter that you left for the
morning’s agenda. You walk back and forth down the dark corridors of your
palace thinking and pondering upon the possible location of the KalZul tablet.
You have a sudden memory flash of some words Patty mumbled during her
interrogation. You remember that she said something about a ship hidden in one
of the deserts located on your planet. You dismissed it as just more of her
lies, but now in desperation for any clues that could lead you to the KalZul
tablet, you order your agents to scout out the surrounding deserts on your
planet.
In the meantime, while you wait for the results of your agents looking for

Mission 2 : A Dark Secret
Your agents have never disappointed you yet, and this time is no different.
They have valuable information for you concerning Formo and the Kalzul tablet.
Your agents were able to track a Formo member to a distant system. On the
system there was a very large excavation site that was being used as a base of
operations. You immediately send a small fleet of ships to monitor any traffic,
of any kind, going to and from the system.
Concerning the deserts you sent your agents to scout, you get some very
startling news. There was indeed a ship there! And to make matters more
interesting, the ship is a Ruby Corvette! The ship has been abandoned, but
there is evidence of a large crew being on it that has somehow vanished,
perhaps somewhere into the vast desert it was found in. You immediately send
out scouting parties to see if they can find some trace of the crew. You
suspect that finding the any of the crew could shed some light onto the
whereabouts of the KalZul tablet. Meanwhile you patiently wait for the results
of your agents and scouts.

Missions: Act 4 > Mission 3
You receive some good news after a couple days of waiting. A crew member of the
abandoned ship has been found. Your scouting team comes back with this “thing”
and brings him to your personal headquarters. This crew member is actually part
of a race known as the Guardian. This Guardian recounts to you his story of the
day his ship crashed. “ Me and my crew mates were investigating a disturbance
in an unknown vector of space, when we were ambushed.” he begins, “ It was very
strange considering the vast and large variety of the ships we were attacked
by. We recognized the ships to be of several different races. We saw many A
Miner and Marauder ships, and several Terran Ships. At first I thought we were
under attack by a certain race, but after seeing all 3 we realized it wasn’t
so. Our ship fled, but our navigational equipment was damaged in the ambush, so
we had no idea as to where we were headed. They eventually were able to catch
up and shoot us down. We landed in a large desert and the rest of the crew that
was still alive all fled into the desert. I hid in an old ancient ruin not far
from the crash site.”
You listen to his story with fascination, but you feel uneasy after hearing it,
because you are afraid that those marauding ships that attacked the Guardian’s
ship could still be hovering around your system. You ask him if he met anybody
else before he was found by your scouts, but he tells you that you were the
first to find him. So you assume he and his crew had no contact with Patty and
that she must have somehow reached the ship after it had been abandoned You
immediately order your ships to do recon in and around your system. You then
send some excavators to look for this ruin and bring back anything of use. You
realize it will cost a large amount of credits for upkeep and the excavation,
but you can’t afford not to investigate for the enemy ships, in case they might
attack and catch you unprepared. It is better to be prepared rather then be
annihilated, you say to yourself.

Mission 3 : A fascinating revelation
Your ships scout around, but have seen nothing of these ships, which are most
likely long gone. You do however receive good, but even more puzzling news from
your agents. They inform you that many different types of ships are seen
traveling to and from the Formo base. What’s even more interesting is that the
ships were the same type of ships that had attacked the Ruby Corvette. Your
agents managed to get a pretty close look at some of the Formo, and they inform
you of the Corporations members’ behavior. The Formo, according to your agents,
seemed almost possessed. Something wasn’t right with the creatures that
appeared to be made up of several different races. Your agents identified some
of the ships to be Collective in origin. Your agents also tell you that on
their way back to your system, these same ships ambushed them and almost
destroyed them. Your agent’s ships are a strong testimony of this, with the
damage consisting of large amounts of plasma burns and energy scars across each
ships hull. You in the meantime ponder what to do next with this interesting
situation and rejoice with the rich rewards found by your excavators in the
ruin that they excavated.

suddenly becomes filled with vast amounts of boiling plasma and energy leaving
brilliant flashes of light in the blackness. You observe as one enemy ship, an
Aragonite Dreadnaught, takes a direct hit and goes into a vicious tailspin,
colliding with an Angel Battleship. Both ships shudder and then start to list
to starboard. Sparks and small explosions flare from the ships as a grayish
plume of vented atmosphere explode into space. You then observe several ships
in both fleets shuddering from large amounts of energy hits; they soon after
explode sending tendrils of plasma through space. Twenty of your ships
simultaneously fire at enemy Collective and Terran ships. Twenty hits; twenty
flaming torches erupt in the distance. You watch as the battle becomes more
intense as the noise becomes deafening as the void around you becomes filled
with a glow of light as weapons of all sorts scream through the air in every
direction. Explosion after explosion erupts in every direction surrounding you.
The battle then finally starts to dim down and the enemy ships flee in every
direction. Your ships proceed in the direction of the planet with the
excavation site that the Formo are using as a base of operations, blasting all
enemy ships in their path with a thunderous, deadly fire. You arrive at ground
level of the planet and disembark form your flagship. You proceed with your
troops to the excavation site. You arrive at the site but, after surveying it
for a few hours realize, that whatever the Formo wanted from here is already
gone. You note that several items and artifacts are missing from rooms and
passages throughout the site. But you still get a very satisfying reward form
the site, as you discover information in an archive that will help improve your

replies, “What do you mean?” “Oh, just this”, you reply. You suddenly press a
button on an electronic pad next to you that opens a hatch in the floor where
Maxwell’s chair sits. You hear a sudden shriek of terror as Maxwell falls like

Your agents have managed to capture and haul back a Formo member. You go to the
interrogation room to interrogate him yourself. When you arrive you can see him
struggling in his restraints, while making gurgling noises with his throat. One
of the first things you notice is that there is something very odd about him,
almost as if he is possessed or being controlled by something else. He looks at
you and suddenly jumps in his chair and attempts to rip his own arms off. Then
he suddenly stops and then takes a hard long look into your eyes. You look back
into his eyes and you notice that his face is hideous and gnarled. It seems
familiar to you, but you can’t quite remember how. And then you realize that
this creature was in a dream of yours a while back. You then start to prod the
creature to reveal information about his past. The creature just looks at you
and then starts to laugh hoarsely and hideously. The creature then suddenly
plunges his chained hand into his head. He twitches and then his body relaxes
into a lifeless, dead position. You ponder upon what exactly made him kill
himself. “Why was that creature so familiar?” you ask yourself. “I remember him
form a dream, but that’s it.”
You are summoned to a meeting by your advisors, in which they ask to increase
the food supply and the amount of food in storage. Your advisors tell you that
they are worried by the lack of food in case of an emergency. You soundly agree

You are rudely awakened by a deep, hoarse voice in your room. You peer into the
darkness as face with a glowing red phaser below it speaks to you these words.
“ Well in wasn’t too hard to sneak into here undetected. I have been waiting
along time for the two of us to have a nice, long chat.” The voice says. “Now
get up on your feet you life ruining scum before I blow a hole in your pitiful
brain.” The voice threatens you angrily. The unidentified thing, whatever he or
it is forces you to walk silently walk away form your palace all the ay to a
desert near the outskirts of your palace. You are led into a cave by the thing,
which threatens to kill you unless you proceed farther into the cave. You
proceed into the dark recesses of the cave as you observe what looks like
living quarters begin to appear around you. The creature then proceeds to force
you to sit in a chair as he ties you up.
The creature begins to pace back and forth muttering angrily to himself. You
can slightly make out curses and sobs in his words and voice as he paces in
front of you. He then shouts in a deep voice to you “ You are a life wrecker! A
fool! A Maniacal, Evil and Stupid person!” He then shouts again into your face
as loudly as possible “ I will punish your iniquity myself!”, as he takes the
butt of his phaser and smashes it full force across your jaw, causing surges of
pain to shoot across it as your blood splatters across the wall behind you.
“You will suffer.”, He whispers into your ear, as he hits you in the face
again, this time splitting you eyebrow. You then respond in a pain filled,
frustrated voice “ Who are you and what have I done to you?” He quickly
responds to your question by saying “ You know what you did, and you will
suffer profusely for it.” “But before your suffering begins, I think you should
see something.” He says slyly to you. The creature goes to the middle of the
room and makes sure that you can clearly perceive him. Then he starts to take
off a mask that is covering his face. You look slowly into his face, and then
have a startling revelation. The face is that of General Allucard. It is
clearly him, but there is something different about him. Very Different.
Your scientists meanwhile have been very hard at work in their labs and have
produced 6 Regalos for you.

Missions: Act 4 > Mission 7
You stare horrified into Allucard’s face and observe that it is horribly
scarred, gnarled, and blackened. “I may have fallen from power in your
insignificant empire, but now I am even more powerful than ever before!” gloats
Allucard. “You were stubborn and you wouldn’t compromise on even give an inch
on anything. You thought all truth lied in your pathetic head, but you were
greatly mistaken.” Allucard roars. “ I thought all truth lied in myself? You
were the one, who could only see your own point of view and no one else’s. You
screamed tolerance, but you had none for people who disagreed with you. Do you
think I don’t know of the thousands of people you silenced for their views?”
You angrily retort. “ They were worms who deserved to die. The strong shall
conquer the weak. That is the only Truth. “Allucard replies. “Power is the only
thing that matters, and who cares what methods you go to get it. When it comes
to power, everything is allowed, and nothing is wrong. Show no mercy and step
on every weakling who gets in your way!” Allucard shouts as if making a
political speech. “And Power shall drip from your fingertips.” He bellows as he
clicks on a screen in the room. You look into the screen and see the thousands
of unknown ships orbiting your empires home system. “Now watch this display of
power!” Allucard yells. You continue looking into the screen and watch in
horror as thousands of enemy ships fire their weapons into a green looking
planet in the your empires home system.
You watch as the planet literally starts to burn as its oceans and lakes boil
away, and its forests and all life on it burn. The planet’s atmosphere starts
to steam even hotter as the enemy ships fire their weapons continually into its
atmosphere, which then pierce into the planet’s surface causing it to burn even
brighter. The planet has been turned into a flaming torch with its entire
surface burning. It now looks like a giant meteor.
“This is what will happen to all sentient life that oppose me!” Allucard cries,
“ I will burn every planet in this system, till this sector of space appears to
be gigantic flaming star.”
You watch helplessly as his ships proceed to another system and get ready to
begin their destructive work of annihilating your empire.
Allucard turns to you and says, “ I can’t let you die yet, and I need you to
witness my coming dominion of all sentient life.” Do you know why I had
Dr.Alphonse murdered?” Because he was weak!” Allucard thunders. “ It is my
right to take anything I want!!! That Kalzul tablet belongs to me and me alone.
After I crush your pathetic empire I will crush all other fools and rule the
galaxy.” Allucard rambles on. “The Great Deceiver will rule and I, his servant,
will bring about his dominion.” Allucard continues. “Under my control Formo
will bring about the domination of the Viral Masters. They rule cannot be
stopped. They will rule the universe in power.” Allucard gloats in a very
definite way.
You immediately wonder who these ‘Viral Masters’ are, and how Allucard got
mixed up with them. Allucard then begins to speak again “ You will live a while
longer and suffer! He then starts to laugh in an evil, maniacal, and
uncontrollable way for almost what seems to be an eternity. With these remarks
‘ and his unusual laugh’ he takes the butt of his phaser and smashes it on your
head, knocking you unconscious.
Your council after looking for you frantically decides on their own to send the

space that surrounds them begins to glow with fiery traces of glowing plasma
and energy screaming through space. Several ships are hit and erupt into balls
of flame. One ships goes into a vicious port spin and collides into an opposing
ship. Both ships exchange fire at point blank range and instantly explode. An
energy beam fired from one of your Hercules Juggernauts cuts so straight and
true into and true into an enemy ship that it cuts the ship in two halves. An
immense number of ships in the sector start to spin uncontrollably after being
hit multiple times.
The scene looks like there is a continuous, unending stream of fire that races
across and in between the 2 sides that keeps going back and forth on a huge
rope made of fiery energy and plasma. A burning Nirvana dreadnaught in your
fleet heads straight toward an enemy Lictor Juggernaught on a collision course.
The Lictor tries to evade but is struck head on, and is engulfed in fiery
explosions from the collision.
Both ships erupt into tiny suns and the fragments scatter freely throughout
space.
Two ships, both with all of their weapons knocked out and heavy damaged
sustained, slowly adhere their hulls together as boarding parties form both
ships cross over to the opposing ships through the airlocks and engage in a
fierce struggle of flashing laser weapons and falling bodies. Several of your
fleet’s crewmen fire their weapons into a dark corridor, devoid of lighting
from the fierce combat, and kill several “humanoid looking things” that charged
into the firetrap. One creature jumps on a technician in a group of fleeing
crewmen and uses its monstrous arms to smash in his skull. One of the fleeing
crewmen see this, turns around, and cries out in anger as he empties his
weapons payload into the body of the monstrous hulking, hideous creature, which
now is standing over the dead body of the technician and is trying to remove
something from his now mangled skull. The creature cries out and falls lifeless
to the cold metal floor on the 5th deck of the Terran class cruiser. The
crewmen the continues to empty his laser pistol to the creatures dead body
until a large blinding orange flash envelops him, the creature, the fleeing
crew and the whole deck. Meanwhile on the 32nd deck of the T Kalieum class
cruiser, a rugged, bloodied soldier by the name of Dorek desperately tries to
fight off the hulking monstrous creatures pouring into the cruiser from the
enemy airlocks, with the aid of his very quickly dwindling squad, which only
has 20 out of the original 50 left.
Dorek hurries to a compromised section of the deck and positions his men
outside the hatch, which the creatures must come through. “All right as soon as
they come out of that hatch, reduce their pathetic bodies to smoldering
carcasses.” Dorek shouts in an inspiring strong voice. Suddenly there is a
small explosion in which 3 of Dorek’s squad are reduced to lifeless corpses.
Dorek is forced to do nothing as he watches a fourth soldier scream in agony as
he tries to remove a jagged piece of metal from his chest that is now gushing
blood onto the cold metal floor of the deck. Dorek’s heart is filled with pain
as he watches his squad mate fall dead onto the floors deck.
Dorek turns his attention back to the hatch as the creatures begin to pour
through it. “NOW”, Dorek shouts, “FIRE!” The area surrounding the hatch is
instantly filled with the energy of flashing lasers screaming into everything
animate or inanimate surrounding the hatch. One of the creatures howls in
intense pain as a laser goes through its head and out the other end. The
creature tries to point its weapon at soldier 50 feet from the hatch, but falls
to the floor dead as a result of the brilliant, shining crimson laser that has
now burnt out after slamming into a metal wall behind the creature. Several
more concentrated bursts of laser fire from Dorek’s squad finish off the rest
of the creatures.
“Sir”, says one of his squad mates “We’ve regained contact with the bridge.”
Good”, Dorek exhales, “tell them we’re on our way.” After about 15 minutes
Dorek and his squad had arrived at the bridge and were talking with the captain
of the cruiser. “We are immediately setting a course for the nearest ship
repair station.” The Captain stated, ” From then we will proceed to our home
system. Alright, Dismissed!” “Yes, Sir!” Dorek and his squad immediately reply.
The battle begins to die down and both forces retreat a respective distance
from each other as they nourish their large amount of losses. You finally
awaken from your unconsciousness and stagger out of the dark cave where
Allucard identified himself. You force your tired and hurting body to walk a
great distance, through the desert, in the cold night weather. Freezing cold
desert winds chill you down to your very bones, but you plod onward toward
palace, realizing you cannot fail your people. You must get to your palace and
ready your defenses against the oncoming juggernaught of former General
Allucard.

You arrive back at your palace close to morning after a long tired trek through
the desert surrounding your palace. Guards at the outskirts of your palace
immediately realize who you are, and rush you to the main quarters of your
palace. You proceed to wash up, change your clothes, and regain your composure.
You then proceed to summon a meeting of all your important officials and
advisors.
You arrive at the meeting several hours later and without delay address
everyone present. “We have a very pressing mater at hand, that if not dealt
with soon and properly will guarantee the death and enslavement of the entire
galaxy.” You announce. “Also I would like to address the palace security
officials and ask if any of you idiots know, “ you begin to raise voice in an
angry manner, “ THE PROPER MEANING AND FUNCTION OF SECURITY!!!” “I was
kidnapped by the former general Allucard right under the noses of the palace
security!” You shout. “Ok now back to business. I just wanted to vent my anger
about that little issue. Now, for the most pressing issue General Allucard.
General Allucard is very different. He is under the influence of the ‘viral
masters’. I’m not quite sure who these ‘creatures’ are, but it somewhat
introduces a new theory about the viral race. We don’t know a lot about the
viral, other than their ability to infect a host, and take over their body. The
virus will then absorb all the knowledge of the host and the host will be
unaware of the presence while still fully aware and interactive with his
environment..” You emphasize.
“General Allucard is not just conscious of his ‘viral infection’ but is
utilizing it to the utmost advantage. He is serving these ‘viral masters’ who
apparently have the desire to destroy our empire and the surrounding galaxy.
These ‘viral masters’ now make apparent the fact that there is some controlling
‘consciousness or will’ of the virus and it isn’t just some mindless organism.
I am not entirely sure of its reasons or purposes, but I know we cannot just
simple do nothing,” You then begin to raise your voice in anticipation, “We
must build and gather every ship we have, and muster one of the largest fleets
known in the history of the galaxy to combat this villainous force trying to
destroy us!” Your advisors begin to stand and applaud your last statement and
voice their approval of your plan.
You proceed to gather huge amounts of money and resources to build a fleet to
counter Allucard’s massive fleet of almost every type of known ship in the
universe

You watch from a large screen in your palace as one of the most massive battles
in the history of space enfolds. You can see ships burning and spinning out of
control as both forces without a seconds pause exchange massive barrages of
firepower. You continue to watch this great battle in progress as a security
aide suddenly interrupts you. “Sir we have a breach in security in one of the
most outlying planets in the system. It appears General Allucard has landed
invasion forces on it and we have no means to stop them at this moment in
time.” You quickly tell your aide, “ Get me a view of the battle on the planets
surface, and every piece of information you have on enemy troop movements.”
An alternate screen starts to unroll in front of you, and an image of children
running and screaming in terror appears on the screen. You observe as a child
runs but is ruthlessly hunted down and shot by a huge hulking creature with a
distinct, black gnarled face. You grimace as the creature takes another child
and fills his body with shot after shot of boiling energy from the creature’s
energy rifle. Suddenly a massive explosion envelops several people in a
blinding flash as everything that had been standing in the area was now reduced
to ashes.
You turn off the screen, not wanting to watch anymore of the bloodshed. “Give
me battle reports on approximate ship losses.” You shout to your aides
surrounding you. “Sir reports indicate severe loses on both sides. The enemy
though Sir, is starting to retreat.” The aide states to you. “Your orders now
Sir?” The aide asks you. “ Tell all ships to hold position and bring up all
available reinforcements to support them. I realize that normally you would
pursue a fleeing enemy and crush them, but we have no way of knowing how many
ships Allucard has at his disposal. We must gather our forces and replace our
losses in case his fleet returns anytime soon.” You reply.
You decide to sleep for the rest of the night. You want to clear your head and
think of what to do next in this struggle for the very survival of your empire.
The dream you had a while ago was very prophetic indeed. You remember the
screams of the children form the dream and shudder as your mind keeps replaying
them in your head. You slowly fall asleep and drift into your unpredictable
dream world.

Missions: Act 4 > Mission 9
You want to expand your empire in hopes of acquiring more resources that you
can stockpile for the war effort against general Allucard and the invisible
hand guiding him.
You decide to explore and colonize distant systems that are currently uncharted
and unknown. In front of you is a vast area that is still unknown, and you are
determined to do whatever necessary to expand your empire, by force if needed.
You dismiss any notion of injustice you could do to any inhabitants of any of
these unknown systems in your mind. This is being done for the benefit of your
people and you conclude. There is no truth, no right or wrong, so you can do
what you want after all, so you won’t need to bother worrying about the fates
of those inhabitants. You will expand and crush those standing in your way.
You give orders to your scouting fleets to start the exploration and send a
part of your fleet with them for escort purposes. Your fleet explores into
every unknown region from the not far Arion sector to the Koriu Miro sector
deep in the recesses of black endless space looking for systems rich in
minerals. You decide to steal a well-earned nap and await the reports of your
fleets.

proceed to strip planets of all of their available resources like a famished
locust. Your fleet finds ones system in particular that is very interesting. It
appears the inhabitants of this system are very advanced and are a small
civilization, but aren’t quite as advanced as you. This civilization isn’t as
advanced as yours you decide, so they are of no use. You systematically
slaughter the inhabitants showing no mercy until every one of them was dead.
You then settle the very rich and well-developed system with your people. Now
you have added a lot more planets and systems to your empire, which will be
useful in helping and supporting your empire.

Dorek’s ship arrives at major space station near your empires home system, and
is docked for a while getting repairs to the extensive battle damage she
suffered during a fierce battle against General Allucard’s fleet, both on the
inside and outside of her hull.
Unbeknownst to the crew and the captain on Dorek’s Vessel, a dark presence has
remained on the ship, avoiding detection by the ship’s crew and personnel. In a
small, dark unlit corner in a damaged section of the ship, a scarred, black
hulking creature is transmitting information by a round, box shaped device to
an unknown, invisible party. The creature whispers in an undecipherable
dialect, meaningless syllables as fast as its unusual black, twisted tongue can
utter.
His indecipherable syllables are picked up by another creature, which closely
resembles him, in a dark, foggy, and swamp like planet, in a remote system,
somewhere in an unknown area of space. The creature receiving the transmission
is flanked closely on both sides by two humans, (also known as Terrans)
completely normal looking, except for the twisted, gnarled features of their
face. One of the humans barks an order of some kind in an incomprehensible
language known only to those who have the common trait… of being infected with
the disease of the viral. .
You watch from a side window in one of the massive space stations in your
empire as a T Kalieum Cruiser is being repaired from some very severe battle
damage.
You decide to take a brief tour of the ship and hopefully give a moral boost to
the crew, who suffered grievous losses in the battle. You talk with the Captain
and crew on the ships bridge, complimenting them on the excellent job they did
of preserving the ship, fighting off the enemy boarding parties, and bringing
back the ship in one piece. The Captain summons a soldier up to the bridge, who
arrives immediately and stands at attention in front of you. The soldier is
well-built, stocky, and his wavy black hair particularly stands out, as light
reflects off his hair from the neon lights directly above you.
“This is Private, excuse me, Sergeant Dorek. He is responsible for fighting of
the enemy boarding parties, while fiercely outnumbered. His courage in battle
and his leadership skills saved us all. I recommend he be awarded for bravery
and battlefield brilliance.” The captain proudly announces to you. “ He won’t
just be awarded that, but he will also now be appointed to my palace security
as my personal bodyguard.” You reply back to the captain as you catch a slight
smile from Dorek’s direction after your statement. You leave the ship with
Dorek at your side and proceed to your palace after a short travel in space.
You give orders to your minister of defense to build up the defenses of system
in your empire. You are determined to fortify your systems so well, that
attacks by an overwhelmingly more powerful and vast force will not succeed. “ I
will not allow the enemy to set foot again on my empire soil, “ You conclude to

asteroids stuffed with the tremendous explosive power that can be directed at
very high speeds, toward any target. It was hard work but you’ve managed to at
least prepare your systems for the all out attack, which could come at any

A sudden discovery on one of you outer systems has reached your attention. It
seems that an ancient kalzul ruin has been unearthed, while some routine
maintenance was being done on the commercial infrastructure of one of the
outlying planets in the system. But the news does get a little more disturbing
when you are informed of reports of small isolated battles occurring between
the military forces stationed on the planet, and groups of “ black, hulking
creatures” accompanied by several other races of aliens that identified
themselves with the name “Formo”. The creatures and Formo seem to be using the
ruin as a base, and came out of it when the ruin was unearthed killing most of
the maintenance crew, the report states further.
You aren’t exactly thrilled about Formo showing up there and you immediately
get together a large fleet of ships and troops to provide reinforcements to the
military stationed there, and to secure the kalzul ruin. You and your fleet
depart quickly knowing that time is of the essence. You fear that other
additional enemy reinforcements may be lurking on the planet somewhere, and you
want to get to the ruin as soon as possible to prevent the ruin from being

BONUS: You receive 6 PCCs & 5 BTCs!
Your fleet arrives in the system and unloads troops into the area where the
ancient kalzul ruin is. You notice a small battle ahead of you in which lasers
are flying around like a rubber ball in a 2 by 2 foot space. You rush your
troops, with Dorek by your side, into nearby buildings for cover, and then
direct your troops to fire upon the entrance of the ruin to make sure that the
creatures and Formo cant get out of the ruin. Your troops help the current
military there to vanquish the entire enemy force by the dark sleek door of the
ruin. You are pondering on what to do next , when a creature suddenly appears
in the doorway of the building your in, and charges in your direction.
Dorek steps in front of you, and smashes his fist into the creature’s gut,
causing the creature to grunt in pain. He then proceeds to take out his laser
pistol, coolly aims it at the creature’s head, and squeezes the trigger. The
laser carves a hole in the creature’s head and exits out the back of its head.
You flash a smile to Dorek and say “ Thanks, that was close.” Dorek replies
back to you with a flashy grin “No problem Sir.”
You continue to supervise the situation and after thinking it over, you order
your troops into the ruin. Your troops advance into the ruin and clear out the
remaining enemies in a very efficient style. You and Dorek move ahead into the
ruin and start to examine the glowing markings that can be distinguished on
every wall in site. You find another door that is large and scarred in
appearance. You manage to get the door open and find yourself in a monstrous
cave, with a very high blue ceiling.
In the middle of this vast cave, you can discern a large platform, which
appears to be comprised of 8 walls, filled with all kinds of writings and
markings, in an octagon shape. You walk up to the wall for closer examination
and notice a small tablet that looks strikingly similar to the kalzul tablet
you once possessed, that protrudes slightly from the wall. You run your fingers
over the surface of the tablet, which is covered with some kind of grayish,
blue glass covering. As soon as you remove your fingers from the tablet, there
is a quiet stirring of a hologram that suddenly appears in front of you. You
proceed to watch the hologram as it pictures several creatures in a kind of
large circular meeting hall, shouting at each other. Then it pictures planets
exploding into billions of tiny particles of matter. It then starts to flash
through many different images so fast, that you can’t make any of them out.
Finally the last picture flashes before you for several minutes and remains on
the hologram. The picture is that of the a creature with a very dark,
grotesque, partially obscured face, next to that of a picture of the galaxy
erupting in flash as bright as that of a blinding star.
You order you engineers to process the ruins and to start an excavation there.
You have linguistic experts investigate all of the ruins, in an effort to start
obtaining translations of the writings on the wall. You ponder on what exactly
the hologram was trying to communicate to you in its last picture. It almost
seemed to you as if it was a kind of foretelling of the future, … a warning of
what could happen in the future.
You reap very rich rewards ranging form artifacts to superior technology, which
is immediately applied to your commercial infrastructure to improve it.

In a large dimly lit, domed building, opinions are being exchanged, and tempers

“I warned you of giving that fool command of such a large fleet!” exclaims a
partially obscured, human like creature, in the middle of the room, by the name
of Somnyee addressing over 100 like creatures of all kinds.” Suddenly another
creature in the room stands up and says, “Be silent you arrogant worm! How dare
you! Who are you to question the council’s decisions?”
“You think that their old age, and supposed wisdom automatically makes what
they say infallible? You are the fool!” Somnyee shouts back. “ Does anyone
remember the councils decision to steal the kalzul table? Did they have the
wisdom or foresight to see that the kalzul tablet would require the Piscean Orb
to work? Was Aureus, the all knowing leader of the council, able to predict
this?” Somnyee declares in a questioning state. “Or did they know that
Allucard’s former co-leader would discover the Piscean Orb in his empires home
system? “All that fool Allucard thinks of is power. He has no foresight of nay
kind. He can’t see any truth that is not convenient for him to see.”
Suddenly Allucard stands up from a dark balcony in the left corner of the
building and retorts back to Somnyee “ Power is power. Your tactics are
outdated and continue to fail. Your truth is as good as mine is. I determine
what the truth is, and the truth is that, who needs to maneuver in battle when
you can simply crush your enemy with brute force. You have no backbone to do
what needs to be done. We can’t just simply enslave his empires people. We need
to exterminate every last one of them, and keep our race pure. Fools like him
and his people will pollute our purity, so he must be destroyed. Don’t you see
that the weak of a race can destroy even the strongest and most determined
race. Our course of action is clear my brothers and comrades. Do what must be
done for the glory of the viral race and the Viral Masters.”
“You must control your destructive nature and take that system intact, as it is
the only source of the holy water, which Aureus requires. You cannot simply
blow this system to bits like you have so many others. It must be taken intact
and unharmed, or you will answer to Aureus yourself! Remember that you glory

to Allucard’s speech
--Back at your home system—
You are informed of a very interesting artifact that was discovered by some of
the translators that you had working on the ancient kalzul ruin. One of your
aides starts to inform you of the finding. “ They were able to translate the
artifacts name into our language. It is called the Piscean Orb, and we know
from the writings on the ruin’s walls that this orb has something to do with
the kalzul tablet. Some our experts suspect that the orb might even have the
ability to fuse in some way with the kalzul tablet.” Your aide informs you.

Act 4 > Mission 13
You are rudely awakened in your private sleeping quarters by a voice over the
intercom in your room. “Sir, we have an incoming transmission that we’re sure
you’ll want to receive personally.” A palace aide informs you. “Ok”, you reply
“ Send it over the intercom then.” You wait for the incoming message when you
suddenly realize whose voice it is that has just started speaking on the
intercom. “ Hello Excellency”
You can’t believe it, but the voice is that of the dead squeamish worm, by the
name of Maxwell. “We didn’t exactly part on a good terms last time, your
excellency.” Maxwell’s raspy voice proclaims on the intercom. You flash back
the last image you remember of Maxwell, which is that of him floating
helplessly in space, gasping for air in vain.
“ You though I was dead didn’t you? The great Maxwell is even greater then ever
before. I now have power beyond my wildest dreams. It is fascinating when two
individuals who have been wronged by the same person, become strong compatriots
and friends. He found me floating in space and took me in. How did I live that
long without air? The Great Maxwell in his great wisdom always carries a 72-
hour oxygen pocket sized rebreather. You can never outsmart someone as great as
I am. I am a genius and incapable of error, my young friend. I have influence
in so many areas now that I never had before. Oh, I love it!” A thought flashes
through your mind that compares Maxwell’s little speech to that of Allucards.
They both are obsessed with power above anything else.
You decide to cut Maxwell off with a special speech you just thought of. “ I am
going to track you down my foolish Maxwell, and when I catch you, I’m going to
peel you like a mango. I will rip you limb from- “ Maxwell abruptly halts your
speech and replaces it with his own. “ Hahaha, very funny Excellency, you have
a most excellent sense of humor. You can’t track me down. I know every move you
make before you make it. Would you like to see something interesting? Call the
guard outside your door into your room. Your not sure what Maxwell is up to,
but you decide to play along with it.
You call the guard into your room. Just as he walks into the room the guard
freezes, starts to clutch at his neck in terror with both of his hands, and
starts to gasp for air. The guard starts to utter grotesque noises from his
throat. The skin on the guards face starts to peel rapidly and reveals a black,
rugged, bumpy coating of some kind of leathery skin. The guard has just
transformed into a gnarled, disfigured viral. You suddenly snap out of reality
and into your intense thought world. The infection is more deadly and serious
then you initially believed. The virus appears to take over some who are aware
of it, and use it to their advantage, and take over others who are not aware of
it. You still though can’t understand how it is controlled or what controls it.
Your only clue is some of Allucard’s words that mentioned “the viral masters”.
You snap back into the real world and resume listening to Maxwell’s speech
about how powerful he is, his ability to get revenge, his wisdom, and several
other things you can’t completely follow of his mindless babblings. You cut
Maxwell’s transmission and immerse yourself in your thoughts.
You decide to do some digging and excavating in an ancient ruin of viral
origin, in a system that was once rife with viral activity thousands of years
ago. You hope to some more information about the viral race, ranging from their
origin to the makeup of their body, in the ruin. You will have to do a lot of
digging and drilling to uncover the information that you so diligently seek.

Mission 13 : Return from sure death?
You have indeed discovered some more insight into the mysterious existence of
the viral infection or virus. In a kind of archive room, that was uncovered
after days of drilling deep into the planets surface, you find many manuscripts
and tomes documenting the viral. It seems, based on several of the manuscripts,
that the virus can be spread simply by physical contact. The virus then
proceeds to guide the hosts actions subconsciously. This however is only the
first form of the virus. There appears to be many other different types based
on the information you have discovered. One form of the virus appears to infect
a host, but does not influence him in any way. Instead it greatly improves his
physical and mental attributes. It almost acts as a type of permanent body
enhancement. This form is willingly accepted though, and can’t enter an unaware
or unwilling host. All of the unaware and subconscious victims of the most
basic form of the virus are somehow influenced or controlled by a higher viral
form or creature. These higher viral forms maybe what Allucard was referring to
when he spoke of the “Viral Master. “ You believe it may be possible that
Allucard may have been infected with this form of the virus.
The virus’s origins are still unknown, although the documents seem to speak of
an old creature that has something to do with the virus’s beginnings. The
documents reveal that this creature is thousands of years old, and that he was
part of the race known as the “kalzul”. You proceed to watch some holograms
that were uncovered in this ruin. You start to stare intently at the images
flashing before you that first picture an odd, hunched looking humanoid
creature that is working in some kind of ancient laboratory. Next another image
flashes before you that pictures a creature held down on a cold dark laboratory
table. The creature writhes and its body convulses in unbearable pain, as a
hunched creature appears to be operating on its body. Then another scene
flashes before you that shows a creature being somehow controlled by the
thoughts of two other hunched creatures carefully observing and wiring down
what is happening. Subsequently you watch in fascination, unable to divert your
eyes for even a moment’s notice, as several creatures barge into the laboratory
and start to open fire, with what appears to be a kind of laser rifle, into the
hunched creatures, who are now running to and for in terror in every direction
as they are ruthlessly mowed down by the creatures, of almost like appearance,
firing upon them. Another scene flashes before you that shows the laboratory,
this time abandoned and desolate, except for a lone hunched creature in the
background. The creature is clad in a red long, trench coat style jacket. If
the collar of the jacket was examined very closely, a name with golden insignia
spelling out the letters “Aureus” The creature is known as Aureus.
The documents present Aureus as some kind of leader, kind of like founder of
the viral race. The documents state that he fled from kalzul authorities, due
to his experimentation with a certain lucrative, untested medical virus, which
was illegal in nature, to an unknown system in a remote part of the galaxy.
Nothing more was ever heard from Aureus but a new virus of unheard and
indescribable power was discovered about 20 years after his disappearance.
You continue digging into the planet’s surface in hopes of uncovering more
artifacts and information. You are richly rewarded for your persistent efforts
when some of your excavators discover a gigantic storage room filled with
highly valued and rare artifacts.

“What do you know about him personally? A squeamish, giddy character by the

Allucard replies to Maxwell in an annoyed tone. “One more question you brute.
Why is the Piscean Orb so important?” Maxwell inquires. “Maybe you should stop

Why? What are you hiding?” Maxwell questions Allucard. “How should I know?”
Allucard retorts. “I’ve only been here for 40 years.”
Maxwell stares intently into Allucard’s eyes in a most unusual fashion. “We

You’ve received reports of Formo activity, which now you know for sure is
controlled by the viral Masters, in several border systems. This hints that
Formo will probably coordinate their attack when Allucard’s fleet begins their
assault.

Mission 14 : Preparing for the struggle
Good news you’ve made another breakthrough in your research about the viral. An
artifact has been discovered in one of the ruins that you have been drilling in
for a long time. It turns out that the viral have a weakness to an artifact
called the “Prodit”. This artifact when activated produces a supersonic
magnetic wave that is very dangerous to the cells of anyone infected with the
virus, which turns someone into a viral. The supersonic magnetic waves
penetrate through a viral’s body, and attach themselves to the viral’ cells,
stimulating an uncontrollable decline and death of the viral’s cells. This
essentially causes a viral to shrivel up and die, because the supersonic
magnetic waves will dry up the cells killing the life in them. You scientists
discovered the artifacts capability when they were experimenting on some
captured viral specimens and mutated creatures.
The only drawback to the artifact, is that it will only work on your home
system and nowhere else for reasons unknown. The only known reason is that your
systems atmosphere and gravity have an effect that prevents the artifact from
working anywhere else. Its almost seems as if it was placed in your system as
some sort of guardian device, meant to counter any virals who would step foot
on your systems surface. Its almost as if the artifact is guarding something.
Your stockpiling of these resources has caused your economies production to
soar. With the cash earned from the extra revenues, you’ve invested it into you
research program and have been rewarded. Your scientists have made your
commercial and agricultural infrastructure more efficient.
You gain +1 Commercial level!

Act 4 > Mission 15
You are sick of waiting for General Allucard to strike, and so you have decided
to make the first move. You know it is daring and risky, but that’s a chance
you’re determined to take. You order your whole fleet to the Carceris Sector,
which is believed to be the location of one of the viral home systems. You
believe that this move is the best you can make at this time. It might cause
Allucard to abandon whatever plans he has now, and go deal with the disturbance
you are about to create. After all the best defense can sometimes be the best
offense. You load millions of soldiers onto your ships for ground combat after
your fleet has dealt with any orbiting fleet in space. Your fleet of the
thousands of ships that you have carefully trained and optimized in every
possible way, get ready to move to the Carceris Sector.
Your ships make the journey to the Carceris Sector and begin their mission…

Obtain 4 billion Power Rating

Mission 15 : Clash of the Titans
Your ships start to engage the enemy viral ships in the area, and you at the
bridge in you customized Hercules juggernaught flagship, are about to witness
the biggest battle you have ever seen. You can observe thousands of ships
exchanging their weapons payloads into each other’s hulls. Hundreds of ships
start to list and shudder from the weapons impacts, while others go into crazy
uncontrollable spins as some have their engines or bridges destroyed. In what
seems to be an instant, in the glittering light of the millions of stars
surrounding you, you can see hundreds of ships erupt like flaming torches,
while other vanish in brilliant, blinding explosions leaving behind millions of
pieces of debris in the void of space.
Your ships continue to pound away at the enemy, obliterating any foolish enemy
and obstacle in their way. Your ships begin to spread out and destroy the
remnants of the once vast viral fleet, which had been totally caught by
surprise. It seems they had been preparing for some massive operation and were
being refitted, when you ships boldly struck. Viral ships are seen fleeing in
every direction, as it appears that your ships have pierced their morale to the
depths of their very souls.
Your ships begin to land ground troops onto the surfaces of the thousands of
planets in the system. Your troops mop up the light enemy resistance and
establish bases on every planet in the system. You have just won an incredible
victory, by catching your enemy unaware and unprepared. You have captured
immense amounts of resources, credits, and planets. You return to your home
system, in case of Allucard attacking when your not there, without bothering to
even step foot onto the surfaces of the planets you have just added to your
growing empire. You arrive a day later at your home system to find your people
celebrating the news of your success in battle. Your lead scientists have even
presented you with a present consisting of 25 regalos
You relish in your victory but still remained prepared for an attack from
Allucard that could happen at any moment. You await his next move, and try to
anticipate what the future holds in store for you, as you wait for reports of
your scientists and researchers investigate the virus, the nature of the
virals, the purpose of the Piscean Orb, the mystery of the Prodit, and the
exact location of the kalzul tablet.
--Sector Zeta Yinru, unknown system and planet, the sector is commonly
frequented by creatures known as the virals. –
“He what!! I can’t believe that worm actually decided to make a move. And the
system was completely taken over!!! What were you fools doing?? Eating and
Drinking!! Because of this failure I’m going to look like a fool in front of
Somnyee!!! I’ll get my revenge 100 times over when I finish with that pathetic
insect. He might have outsmarted me briefly, but true power lies in me. I can’t
be defeated. I will introduce a new glorious age, in which the viral shall
consume the galaxy, destroying all those in our path!!!” Allucard roars in
anger as he receives the news of your stunning victory. “
And shut your mouth Maxwell! Your pathetic voice annoys me! Allucard yells in
Maxwell’s direction, who is laughing in his unique and squeaky voice in a dark
corner nearby. “Brute force does not win battles my foolish Allucard. Wisdom
and deception always prevails. You shall see that I’m right soon, very soon.”
-------What will Allucard’s next action be? What exactly is Formo doing in your
outer systems? Where is the kalzul tablet? What will Maxwell do next? How
exactly does the Piscean orb fuse with the kalzul tablet, and what will happen
once it’s fused? …
Only time will tell the answers to these questions that plague your mind
nonstop.

Act 5 > Mission 3
You wake up one more to the most unwelcome sound in the universe: Maxwell on
your comm channel.
"Greetings, eminent one. I was erm, on a cargo run yes, when I came across a
sealed container. My scans show it containing quite a large number of planetary
core artifacts, in excess of hundreds. Being but a humble trader I have no use
for such frivolities, so I come to you to propose a trade. A meager 2 billion
units of Terran Metal in exchange for the coordinates to this container. I will
be awaiting your reply, oh gracious one."
You ponder the accuracy of this information. On the one hand, a few hundred
PCCs is not something you want in the hands of the other empires. On the other
hand, Maxwell's reputation preceeds him.
Should you take the risk?

mission)

"Oh thank you, generous one. Rest assured this will most definitely be put to
good use. The coordinates are already on their way to you. A pleasure doing
business with you."
A quick check confirms the coordinates are indeed in your possession. The trade
was good. Racing off, you order the small expeditionary force specially
prepared for this to take off immediately. There follows days of nail-biting
tension as you impatiently wait for news.
A fortnight later, the team reports in: No signs of the artifacts were found,
only a small cargo container with several useless orbs. Hurling nearby objects
at the viewscreen, you cry out in utter frustration.
Maxwell's reputation does indeed preceed him.
